DSEK asks CEOs to furnish list for nominations of key resource persons for School Leadership Academy | KNO

Srinagar, Nov 24 (KNO): The Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) on Wednesday asked the Chief Education Officers (CEOs) to furnish the list for the nominations of Key Resource Persons from their respective jurisdictions for the School Leadership Academy (SLA). DSEK in a notification said, “It is impressed upon all CEOs to furnish the list of resource persons from your district and provide details of Key Resource Persons (10 from each district which must preferably include nominations from among the principals of higher secondary school, ZEOs, headmasters, senior lecturers and head teachers.” According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), DSEK has asked the CEOs that the resource persons may be identified in consultation with Principal DIET amongst the best performing officials with the skill of imparting training down the line over and above having required ICT skills. “The panel of experts will be trained by National Centre for School Leadership (NCSL) New Delhi and other National level training institutes on various aspects of educational policy, planning administration and educational leadership,” it reads. The director of the department said that the required list of nominations may kindly be forwarded to the office of the DSEK by November-26-2021. The DSEK while stating the mandated of School Leadership Academy (SLA) SCERT Jammu and Kashmir that is going for the capacity building of school heads and mid-level manager said that it will look after the curriculum and material development of training modules, documentation especially videos for SLPD—(KNO)
